Jojoba Oil Benefits - Another ingredient

Next up on awesome ingredients in the Lemongrass Spa Hydrating Body Creme is Jojoba Oil. I think we all have a little knowledge about it...I knew it was a golden oil, and great for hair. That's it. So after this post, hopefully you'll know some benefits of Jojoba Oil too!
If you have started, or are even here reading my new blog, I'd like to say thank you and YAY! That means you are or are becoming interested in natural organic skincare and cosmetics, & mineral makeup! Getting non-toxic, chemical free, paraben free products on people's skin is what my goal is! Yes, I sell Lemongrass Spa Products, HONESTLY, this IS my dream job! (I wish I wish I could do this full time) I have always had a passion for skincare, makeup, and just...products. Since I started Lemongrass and learned about the "stuff" in the "average products" we use, it has become even more of a passion for me! I want to tell everyone everything I can, if I can help one person, it's worth it!
More on that later! Let's get to jojoba oil.
I am educating myself on all the natural organic ingredients in the products, and I want more or less, to tell you what they can do for you. Rather than focus on the bad in the other products, I want to focus on the good in our products. Sounds better than trying to talk you into becoming some organic holistic person if you are just the average woman like I am.
The benefits of Jojoba Oil are AMAZING! It is the perfect moisturizer. It is very similar to the natural oils that our bodies produce on a regular basis, and it contains almost ALL of the vitamins essential for healthy skin and hair. These include, vitamin E, B-complex, copper, zinc, selenium, iodine & chromium. Talk about a wonder oil! Not only that, but it's gentle enough to be used on even the most sensitive skin with NO allergic reactions! It is easily absorbed, and leaves the skin feeling soft and supple. The powerful antioxidants in jojoba oil, help smooth fine lines and wrinkles. It is particularly effective for treating dry skin and the antioxidants help create a more youthful glow. It is a known scar, stretch mark, and unsightly skin issues. Even sores. All the above may be reduced by using the vitamin E rich oil on problem areas.
It reduces the "winter-itch" and chapped skin, since the anti-bacterial properties work to reduce dryness and irritation.
Besides possessing these anti-bacterial properties. With it's anti-inflammatory & anti-bacterial properties... These combined characteristics help to reduce various skin problems such as psoriasis and eczema.
As you can see there are Many benefits of jojoba oil. I have only listed a few, because I have so many more awesome oils and butters and ingredients in this cream...if you've read all the posts...you'd think these alone would be enough to make a dramatic improvement in skin! BUT, the next topic will be mango butter! Thank you lemongrass spa for making affordable, safe products for myself and my family!

Grapeseed Oil... another benefit of this ULTRA Hydrating Creme!

www.ourlemongrassspa.com/wonderwoman Awesome Aloe Vera Gel! Aloe Vera Gel is the 1st ingredient listed on the Hydrating Body Crème jar. Aloe vera has been used for a host of purposes since the ancient Egyptians called it the “plant of immortality.” Listed here I would love to share some of the benefits of using Aloe Vera Gel. 1. Aloe moisturizes the skin without giving it a greasy feel 2. Aloe vera gel contains two hormones: Auxin and Gibberellins. These two hormones provide wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation. Giberellin in aloe vera acts as a growth hormone stimulating the growth of new cells. It allows the skin to heal quickly and naturally with minimal scarring. 3. Aloe is soothing and can reduce skin inflammations, blistering and itchiness, while helping the skin to heal more rapidly. Additionally, in Ayurvedic medicine, Aloe is used to effectively heal chronic skin problems, such as psoriasis, acne and eczema. Aloe gel causes change in the skin that help diseases like psoriasis 4. It fights aging, and yes, not only does our facial skin age, but we need to keep our body moisturized as well! No sense in all the treatments of the face, only to see the old adage “you can tell a woman’s age by her hands”. I for one, want my whole body to be moisturized, not just my face. (although I have never had eczema or psoriasis, just being me…I LOATHE the winter months when my legs have gotten so dry, you can actually SEE the dead itchy dry white colored skin, and they itch they are so dry…) 5. It lessens the visibility of stretch marks. The skin is like one big piece of elastic that’ll expand and contract as needed to accommodate growth. But if the skin stretches too far, too fast (due to pregnancy, rapid weight gain or loss) the elasticity of the skin can be damaged. That’s what leaves those unsightly stretch marks. These marks appear due to minor tears in the layers of the skin caused by sudden and excessive stretching. Aloe vera gel can help hide these stretch marks by healing these wounds. 6. This solid material contains over 75 different nutrients including vitamins, minerals, enzymes, sugars, anthraquinones or phenolic compounds, lignin, saponins, sterols, amino acids and salicylic acid. 7. It is a remedy for skin conditions including burns, sunburn, frostbite, psoriasis, and cold sores. Some people also use aloe gel to help surgical wounds and bedsores heal faster. There is science supporting these uses. 8. Some of the chemicals in aloe gel are able to increase circulation in the tiny blood vessels in the skin, as well as kill bacteria. Together, these effects seem to make it very effective in speeding wound healing. It speeds healing by improving blood circulation through the area and preventing cell death around a wound 9. It also appears that aloe gel has properties that are harmful to certain types of bacteria and fungi 10. It also shows some promise in treating more serious and persistent conditions such as eczema, genital herpes, dandruff, psoriasis, canker sores, skin ulcers and others, according to the Mayo Clinic. (some of which I have already mentioned. These are JUST A FEW of the many benefits of Aloe Vera Gel. There is so much more, but I think that is enough information to cover the 1st ingredient. Next up: Grapeseed oil! Stay tuned!

Ultra Moisturizing Body Creme benefits - Mango Butter

Mangos offer many benefits for the skin. Some of the most valuable for skin acids in this butter are stearic, oleic (46%), linoleic acids (unsaturated Omega-6 fatty acid). It contains vitamins A, high amount of vitamin E, C, D, group B vitamins, folic acid, calcium, iron, magnesium. , which work to combat free radicals. Free radicals are found in the sun's rays and air pollution. When applied to the skin, mango butter has the ability to protect it from the sunburn as well as sooth sunburned skin. Mango butter is first of all a prized emollient and moisturizer with high content of fatty acids, essential to skin’s youthful and smooth quality. Very rich on one hand, but easily absorbent and light-felt on another Mango butter is truly an anti-age ingredient. It rejuvenates skin due to presence of antioxidants. It helps to neutralize toxins, to generate skin cells renewal and to prevent wrinkle formation.  The mango butter protects skin from sun damage, so it has been used more in UV protection lotions and creams. The butter is very versatile with range of wonderful qualities - ability to hydrate skin for long period of times, lightening of age and sun damage spots, tightening skin and healing eczema, rashes, irritations and generally, bringing back a healthy tone to skin. Mango butter is also able to work deeper into the skin, healing muscles’ aches and tensions.
